Eastern Nazarene College has received funds under Section 18004 of the CARES ACT. The College is required to submit a report to the Secretary of Education describing the use of funds distributed from the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF).
This report provides public information about Eastern Nazarene College’s use of the HEERF Institutional Portion. This information will be updated no later than ten days after the end of each calendar quarter, with the first reporting quarter as of 9/30/20. No further reporting will be required if the report is marked final.
Funds were available to the College on April 24, 2020. The College was awarded a total of $380,707 under Section 18004 (a) (1), and $37,200 under the Emergency Grant P425M200405 Section 18004 (a) (2), under The Strengthening Institutions Program of The CARES Act.
The Certification and Agreement for the Institutional Portion allows use of funds to cover institutional costs associated with COVID-19.
As of July 29, 2020, the College had drawn down funding of $417,907 from the HEERF Institutional Portion. Remote learning began in March of 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
HEERF Funding has been used to supply the College with COVID test kits, PPE supplies and signage, and technology upgrades.
