All Student Government Association (SGA) groups are collectively overseen by the Office of Community Life that provides guidance and a clear vision for students and student organizations that serve student life on campus.
The SGA is comprised of the commuter council, class councils (freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, and commuter) as well as an executive council the includes a student body president and six executive student staff positions. The SGA oversees 20 student clubs and ministries, intramural sports, campus activities, and student publications (the Veritas newspaper and Nautilus yearbook). Through its events and programs, the SGA seeks to build a thriving campus community that taps into and cultivates students’ interests and passions.

Founded in 1922, the Nautilus yearbook has become an Eastern Nazarene College tradition and conduit to preserve student history, featuring both current students and alumni of the college.
The first Nautilus in 1922 was a leather-bound edition that featured literary contributions from students as well as Dean Bertha Munro. Today, the Nautilus staff is dedicated to carrying out the publication’s long tradition of celebrating the college’s history and envisioning its future through photography, video, artwork, literary works and journalism.
The Veritas student newspaper has been the voice of Eastern Nazarene College students since its founding in 1933. Today, the paper continues to highlight the latest events on campus and in the greater Boston area. A team of talented student editors and writers contributes to the paper to express a diversity of opinions and perspectives.
