The Board of Trustees of Eastern Nazarene College today announced it has voted unanimously to begin the process of closing ENC and transitioning it into a new educational enterprise that will carry on ENC’s legacy of providing a transformational education that equips diverse students to lead and serve our world as agent of Christ’s love and truth.
Eastern Nazarene College is a fully accredited Christian liberal arts college with over 50 undergraduate, graduate, adult studies, and online degree programs. For nearly 120 years, ENC has prepared students for lives of leadership and service.
Dedicated to Student Success
Today, students drawn from 14 foreign nations and 36 U.S. states are prepared both intellectually and spiritually to lead in the 21st century. The faculty is dedicated to every student’s success with 95% of graduates employed or are in graduate school upon graduation.
Students have undertaken internships at:
- UMASS Medical School
- Boston Medical Center
- Growth and Development Lab
- Boston’s Children Hospital
- Mass General Hospital, and many more!
Other students have pursued graduate programs at Harvard Medical School, MIT, and Oxford.
Graduates go on to pursue successful careers within their fields of degree and are able to bring transformational change within the organizations they are in.
Guided by Christian Values
Rooted in its denomination, the Church of the Nazarene, Eastern Nazarene College supports students from a variety of faith backgrounds in their spiritual development, providing them with opportunities to live their faith.
Student-led summer ministry teams travel to camps and churches on the east coast, a long-standing tradition and valuable experiential learning for those interested. Other students participate in mission trips called FUSION. The FUSION program is designed to give students an opportunity to connect with the activity of God in contexts that cause them to cross a boundary of difference.
