Transfer Students

Transferring to ENC is Easy!

We’re glad that you are considering transferring to ENC. Your perspective and experience is exactly what we need! You will be joining many others who have gone through the same process and are now, forever LIONS!

Transferring can be daunting! Let us come alongside you and help make the process as seamless and stress-free as possible!

We will provide you with personalized attention as you transition. Our dedicated transfer admissions team is standing by, ready to support you in selecting your area of study, and assessing any transferable credits you may have already earned.

The application process is simple! Applicants need a minimum G.P.A. of 2.0 and 12 college level credits to be eligible for admission. We also allow up to 93 transfer credits. To make things even easier, we also offer a General Education waiver with an Associate’s Degree and, Transfer Scholarships are available to qualifying students!

Submit College Transcript(s)

  • Your official college transcript(s) must be submitted from all previous colleges attended.
  • If the student attends or has attended a university outside the U.S. or Canada, transcripts must first be sent to either WES or AACRAO for a full course-by-course transcript evaluation. Each transcript will be reviewed for transferability of credits.
  • Transcripts should be sent to:Eastern Nazarene College

  • Official electronic transcripts may also be requested through the registrar’s office, from all previous institutions attended.

Students Enrolling with a Previously Earned Associates Degree

We value the hard work you’ve already invested in your education, and are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible.

Students with an Associates degree from an accredited institution must meet the following standards and conditions in satisfying the General Education requirements at ENC:

Complete the following nine credits:

•CP250 Bible in Current Perspective

•CP250 Bible in Current Perspective

•CP350 World Religions

•CP410 Living Issues

•All other CP course requirements (23 credits) are waived.

•All other General Education requirements are satisfied by the Associates Degree, except for majors that have specific General Education course requirements.

Massachusetts Guarantee Benefits for ENC Transfer Students

Dedicated to equity and opportunity in higher education, Eastern Nazarene College has partnered with the New England Board of Higher Education, the Association of Independent Colleges and Universities in Massachusetts, and the Massachusetts Association of Community Colleges to join the Massachusetts Independent College Transfer Guarantee (Massachusetts Guarantee) program.

This means we have expanded in-state transfer options for students graduating from Massachusetts community colleges.

Transfer Scholarships

Presidents Scholarship $14,000
3.5-4.0 College GPA

Trustees Scholarship  $12,000
3.0-3.49 College GPA

Dean Scholarship  $10,000
2.5-2.99 College GPA
