Taisha Hendrickson Joins ENC as Director of Marketing and Communications

Eastern Nazarene College is pleased to announce that Taisha Hendrickson will be joining the college as the Director of Marketing and Communications starting on August 17, 2020. As Director of Marketing, Taisha will bring a wealth of experience in developing successful marketing and communications strategies to the role. Throughout her career she has worked diligently to build and enhance upon the marketing goals within various organizations. As Hendrickson notes, “the success within my career has always stemmed from the education I received and the lifelong importance that it continues to have. Now, having the opportunity to use these skills to create similar lifelong successes for current and potential students attending Eastern Nazarene College is something that I greatly look forward to.”

Through her work as Project Lead within the Marketing and Communications Department at Liberty Mutual Insurance, Taisha successfully lead initiatives to reconstruct and redesign all customer policy communication materials. She worked cross-functionally with senior leaders’ teams to exceed business objectives and maintain direct marketing relationships with customers.

Transitioning into the banking sector, she joined East Boston Savings Bank as the Director of Marketing and Public Relations. There she worked closely with executive management and company stakeholders to align organizational marketing goals with the company’s mission and vision. Her work was instrumental in developing a new and effective approach to marketing products to customers, thus leading to the expansion of the bank’s branch footprint across Boston.

In her most recent role as Director of Marketing and Communications at The Dimock Center, Hendrickson effectively led their non-profit marketing efforts and contributed to an increased awareness about the significant impact of their work within community health and education, both locally and nationally. She developed many successful marketing campaigns including a most recent campaign entitled “I’m Dimock” which emphasized the voice for more than 19,000 patients and families within low-income communities, about the impact of Dimock’s work and the importance in removing barriers to quality health and education for all.

Brad Zarges, Vice President of Enrollment, commented on Hendrickson’s appointment saying, “I am thrilled to have Taisha join the ENC community and the Enrollment Management team. It is evident that Taisha brings significant experiences in various sectors, but it is her desire to integrate her faith and love of higher education that most excites me as she leads the marketing and communication efforts for the college.”

When describing what she is looking forward to about coming to the ENC community, Taisha stated, “every life decision that I have made has been based upon the strong foundation of my faith. I believe that with the combination of my faith, skills and personal passion for community and education, I will greatly contribute to the transformational education that Eastern Nazarene College provides and its mission to equip diverse students to lead and serve our world as agents of Christ’s love and truth.”

Taisha holds a B.A. in Marketing from Bentley University and an M.B.A. from the New England College of Business and Finance. She currently lives in Easton, MA along with her loving husband and daughter.
