QUINCY – Eastern Nazarene College welcomed the class of 2027 to campus on Saturday, Aug. 26. The move-in day check-in process began at 9:00 a.m., kicking off The Launch, the College’s immersive new student experience.
Returning student and staff volunteers assisted new arrivals and their families as they unloaded vehicles and settled into their new home for the year. Later, students were required to attend a welcome session in Wollaston Church of the Nazarene followed by a dinner, an orientation session, a party on Wollaston Beach, and a floor meeting with their new Resident Advisor. In between the mandatory sessions, students and families were free to explore campus, join a tour led by the Student Government Association, visit Student Financial Services or the Registrar, take photos, and say their goodbyes.
Following move-in day, The Launch activities will continue until Wednesday, Aug. 30 to prepare students for this new chapter. Activities like the Boston excursion, orientation groups, and Convocation are designed to equip students for college life and help them navigate ENC’s campus and beyond. These events offer invaluable opportunities for students to connect with their classmates, staff, and faculty while exploring their new environment.
After the weekend of connection, transfer student and member of the College’s International student population Nico Kaczmarczyk said, “ENC is like a big family – wherever you are, there are always people taking care of you! I love it and I am not regretting taking this path!”
