Mar 12, 2024

QUINCY – Eastern Nazarene College is proud to welcome Reverend Dr. Richard Griffiths to speak at Commencement on Saturday, May 4, 2024.

Rev. Dr. Griffiths is the lead pastor of Bronx Bethany Church of the Nazarene in Bronx, New York. He holds a Doctor of Ministry from Nazarene Theological Seminary, a Master of Arts in New Testament Biblical Literature from Alliance Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Binghamton University.

Griffiths will deliver his speech at the College’s 102nd Commencement ceremony to an audience of graduates and their supporters. As a cultural hybrid and intergenerational bridge-builder, he is dedicated to helping people pursue the Lord with resolve and urgency and discover their unique opportunities for life-changing social impact.

Griffiths will imbue the class of 2024 with his passion for communicating the love of God and the beauty of holy living. Alongside his extensive theological knowledge, Griffiths is passionate about the Lord and helping people recognize God’s call in their lives. He hopes to share this sentiment with students as the Lord shepherds them through this transition.

Dr. Griffiths is an active husband and father who understands the challenges and opportunities in navigating family life. He is married to his wonderful wife and partner in ministry Yanique, and they have two children, Seth and Hannah, who make every day an adventure.

The ceremony will begin at 2:00 p.m. EST on the College’s front lawn. For those unable to attend the ceremony, a livestream will be made available on the Commencement webpage.
