Like many colleges and universities, Eastern Nazarene College is carefully monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and deploying mitigating steps to support the health of our community. We continue to stay abreast of research findings and recommendations by health experts and public health officials and we will comply with local, state, and federal health requirements.
We encourage you to check this page frequently for everything you need to know about campus protocols, vaccination requirements, precautions and restrictions.
Summary of Protocols
- We will not require COVID vaccines but strongly encourage the COVID vaccines.
- We will conduct symptomatic COVID testing in health services but will not do onboarding or surveillance testing.
- We will provide access to COVID vaccines through our partnership with a health center but can explore other options if need be.
- Students who need to isolate for COVID will be asked to return home if they can get there via a private automobile. If they need to remain on campus and have a roommate, their roommate will be offered the opportunity to relocate elsewhere on campus, but do not have to.
- Student who are isolating will be able to pick up their own meals and educated on the need to increase sanitation practices.
- Education involving COVID (both preventatively and to those who are ill) will be ongoing.
