Eastern Nazarene College Partners with Watermark to Support Student Success

Jan 24, 2022

Eastern Nazarene College (ENC) is excited to announce a partnership with Watermark Insights, LLC (Watermark) to support the success of each student during their collegiate journey. As a result of this partnership, ENC will launch a comprehensive student support system to help students navigate their college journey, and insights into how faculty and staff can design an experience that helps students complete their journeys on time.

“We pride ourselves at ENC on being a truly student-centered institution, and this partnership with Aviso is one more indication of our commitment to the success of every student,” said Dr. Jack Connell, President of ENC.

Through this partnership, ENC students will receive greater access to support resources at the college. For example, a mobile app will allow students to schedule appointments, communicate with members of their student success team, and receive timely nudges from the college so they can stay on track. Additionally, the Aviso Enterprise platform, a product of Watermark, will help students and their advisors keep track of their academic progress so that students will be equipped to graduate on time.

Dr. Ian Slater, Vice President for Student Life at ENC said, “Students enroll in college with plans to succeed, not to fail or falter. And ENC’s mission and commitment is to provide a transformative, Christ-centered education. This partnership with Watermark and the use of the Aviso platform is going to help our students succeed and flourish in their experience here at ENC.”

Alex Leader, Chief Impact Officer at Watermark, shared his excitement about working with ENC, “We are thrilled for the partnership with ENC. It has always been our focus to help create positive student outcomes through the identification of engagement opportunities and delivering that information into the hands of those that can make a difference. Collaborating with ENC on this effort continues their institutional mission to offer student-centric services customized to every learner.”
