QUINCY – Eastern Nazarene College wants to thank all who celebrated #GivingTuesday with us on Tuesday, Nov. 28. This year’s event saw 82 donors who raised a total of $33,339 that will be distributed across the ENC Fund, a new student emergency fund, the Choice Scholarship, and providing each student with a Bible.
How your donation will impact students:
- ENC Fund: This is a foundational part of our institution. This pool of resources allows ENC to apply dollars to any programs or areas with a vital need.
- Student Emergency Fund: This new fund is exclusively dedicated to helping students with emergency, practical needs, like repairing a broken laptop or flying home for a family funeral. We can help prevent a setback to a student’s success through strategic allocations.
- CHOICE Scholarship Fund: A strong endowment is vital to our student’s success. This scholarship is awarded to students who have demonstrated financial need, and, for many, it makes their ENC education possible.
- Bibles for Students: Each year our alumni council gives Bibles to our graduating seniors. Beginning in September, we will start giving Bibles to our first-year students, so they can use them during their college experience and beyond. You can provide a Bible for a student with a donation of $15.00. It’s a small gift with a BIG impact.
If you want to make an end-of-year gift to ENC, it’s not too late. Any gifts received on or before Dec. 31, 2023, will be counted on your 2023 Giving Statement.
