Tricia (Bradley) Seymour, Jill (Caldwell) Dean, John Furey, and Charles Magee along with the 1977-78 Women’s Basketball Team comprise the 15th Carroll F. Bradley Hall of Fame class.
Tricia (Bradley) Seymour (’92) was a four-year member of the ENC Women’s Volleyball program from 1988 to 1991. She helped lead the Crusaders to three consecutive NAIA National Tournament appearances. During her four-year career, Eastern Nazarene racked up a staggering 135-18 record.
Jill (Caldwell) Dean (’92) was a four-year member of the ENC Women’s Volleyball program from 1988 to 1991. She helped lead the Crusaders to three consecutive NAIA National Tournament appearances. During her four-year career, Eastern Nazarene racked up a staggering 135-18 record.
John Furey (’84) was a four-year member of the ENC Men’s Cross Country Team from 1980 to 1983. He finished first in 10 races throughout his collegiate career. He was a four-time Seaboard Conference All-Star, three-time Seaboard Conference runner-up and claimed the Seaboard Conference crown as a junior before finishing 12th at the NCCAA National Championship meet.
After graduating from Eastern Nazarene College, Fury went on to coach cross country at the collegiate level. He held head coaching positions at Eastern Nazarene, Emerson, and is currently in his fifth season as the head cross country coach at Quincy College. As a collegiate cross country coach, Fury guided teams to two NAIA regional runner-up finishes and five conference titles.
Charles Magee (’85) was a four-year member of the Crusaders’ men’s basketball team from 1981 to 1985. At the conclusion of his collegiate career, he ranked eighth in program history with 1,476 career points and currently ranks 11th on the program’s all-time scoring list. As a senior, Magee was named a Colonial Conference All-Star and NAIA All-Star.
The 1977-78 Eastern Nazarene Women’s Basketball Team posted an impressive 16-1 overall record with an undefeated record in regular season action. The Crusaders claimed the MAIAW State Tournament title and reached the semifinals of the WCIA Tournament.
