VIP Orientation Welcomes New Students To Campus

Published: July 15, 2014

Over 140 incoming students made their way to ENC for VIP Orientation on July 11 and 12. Students and families met with enrollment counselors as they registered for the event-filled weekend. Following registration, students and their families enjoyed a barbeque and attended an evening chapel service at the Wollaston Church of the Nazarene. The evening services featured worship lead by Resplendent, one of the three summer ministry teams, and a sermon by ENC chaplain Corey MacPherson. Later that night, students attended a coffeehouse equipped with a photo booth, while parents spent time together in Spange Parlor for a desert reception.

During orientation, students were able to meet their roommates, pick their dorm room for the fall, meet their advisors to set up their fall schedules, and interview for on-campus jobs. VIP Orientation concluded Saturday with the annual ice cream truck on campus. Overall, the weekend was a great success and we can’t wait to see everyone back here on campus next month for New Student Orientation to start the 2014-2015 school year!
