International Application Process

Freshmen and First-time Students to the US

  1. Submit your FREE application to ENC. Your application to ENC is also the application for academic and merit-based scholarships.
  2. Send your SAT or ACT exam results. All applicants must submit to the Office of Admissions an official report of standardized test scores for either the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or the Assessment Test of the American College Testing Program (ACT). ENC’s code for the SAT is 3365 and the ACT is 1818.
  3. Send your Official Secondary School Transcript. If you have attended a non- U.S. School you will be asked to send your transcripts through a foreign credential evaluation service. You can use any member agency found at NACES.org.
  4. Submit your TOEFL or IELTS exam results. For non- Native English speakers, proof of English proficiency must be submitted through the Test for English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS). ENC code for the TOEFL is 3365.

F-1 Students Transferring from another U.S. institution:

  1. Submit your FREE application to ENC. Your application to ENC is also the application for academic and merit-based scholarships.
  2. Send in your Official College Transcript. If you have attended a non- U.S. College you will be asked to send your transcripts through a foreign credential evaluation service. You can use any member agency found at NACES.org.
  3. Submit your TOEFL or IELTS exam results. For non- Native English speakers, proof of English proficiency must be submitted through the Test for English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS). ENC code for the TOEFL is 3365. If you have completed a total of 12 transferable college credits from a U.S. institution the TOEFL or IELTS requirement will be waived.

Certification of Financial Support

This form must be completed by the applicant, financial sponsor and/or bank certifying the assured financial support for the applicant’s first year. Total budgetary costs for an academic year at Eastern Nazarene College are provided through the New Student Financial Aid Award Letter.

Your Admissions Counselor will send you the form after you qualify for admission.

Enrollment Deposit

A $200.00 enrollment deposit is required to enroll at Eastern Nazarene College. All International applicants, upon admittance, are required to submit their enrollment deposit by May 1 for Fall semester or by December 1 for Spring semester enrollment. The deposit is non-refundable after the above deadlines. You may pay online or send a check or money order through the mail to the below address:

Financial Aid

Eastern Nazarene College offers institutional financial aid to all International students that meet admissions requirements. Your application to ENC is also your merit scholarship application. If you are accepted to ENC, you will be asked to submit our International Financial Aid Application which will assist ENC in determining what additional need based aid you will qualify for. An award letter will be sent to you that details the scholarships you will receive from ENC.

International Payments

ENC has partnered with Flywire to streamline the tuition payment process for international students. With Flywire, you are offered excellent foreign exchange rates, allowing you to pay in your home currency (in most cases) and save a significant amount of money, as compared to traditional banks. You will also be able to track where your payment is in the transfer process and an email confirmation will be sent to you when your payment is received by the school.
