Spring Commencement – May 2018

Eastern Nazarene College will hold its 96th Spring Commencement Ceremony on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. on the lawn in front of Gardner Hall.  Dr. David Busic, General Superintendent of the International Church of the Nazarene, will deliver the Commencement Address.

Graduation participants should plan to arrive on campus at 2:00 p.m. in order to receive directions. Parking space is limited surrounding the college, so please plan for extra time. Additional parking will be provided on May 6 at the Old Colony Campus and a shuttle service will be provided beginning at 12:30 p.m. until the start of the ceremony, and will run following the ceremony as needed.

Regalia will arrive in the Registrar’s Office by Monday, April 23, 2018. Traditional Undergraduate students may pick up their regalia and commencement tickets at the Registrar’s Office window Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. once they are certified for graduation. If alternate arrangements are needed for regalia pick-up, please contact Abbey Stanford at 617-745-3875 or Abbey.Stanford@enc.edu

Adult and Graduate Studies students, please contact Tim McDonald at 617-774-6715 or Timothy.McDonald@enc.edu concerning regalia, commencement tickets, and any general graduation questions.

In the case of rain, the Wollaston Church of the Nazarene will be used. If the ceremony is held inside, then space to view the ceremony is limited. All graduation participants will each receive 2 guest tickets for live viewing of the ceremony in the Wollaston Church of the Nazarene.  Additional guests will be able to view live video streaming of the ceremony in the Ruth Cameron Auditorium or the Cove Auditorium as space is available. Ceremony tickets will only be necessary in case of rain, and will need to be presented by guests at the door on their way into the church.  Alternate viewing locations do not require tickets but will be limited to available seating.

The Baccalaureate Service will be held in the Wollaston Church of the Nazarene on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. ENC Chaplain, Rev. Lynne Bollinger will deliver the message. A reception in Lahue Physical Education Center will immediately follow the Baccalaureate Service.
