Biographical Notes
Dr. Doane joined the ENC faculty in the fall of 2017 as an assistant professor in the Chemistry Department. He completed his doctorate in physical chemistry at Case Western Reserve University and postdoctoral studies at Syracuse University. His research interests include nanomaterial interfaces for reaction monitoring and catalysis, sustainability in closed loop systems, and metal speciation in complex environments.
To date he has co-authored twenty-five peer reviewed publications in journals including Journal of the American Chemical Societyˆ, ACS Nano, and Accounts of Chemical Research.
He lives in Quincy with his wife and children.
