Overview

Students who feel that God has called them to ministry and serving others should consider Eastern Nazarenes Christian Ministry Program. By earning a Bachelor’s in Christian Ministry, students have the knowledge, skills and understanding to effectively serve and lead others. 

Students complete courses such as Biblical History and Literature, Doctrine of Holiness, Introduction to Missions, Christian Preaching, and more to ensure they receive a well-rounded education. Earning a Christian Ministry degree in a Christ-centered community means that students receive all the resources, guidance, and teachings needed to pursue a career in ministry. Student learn to evaluate and challenge their beliefs as they grow in their faith.

Class sizes are small to ensure students have the opportunity for community with professors and peers, engaged classroom discussion, and faculty-led research. At Eastern Nazarene College, the faculty takes interest in each and every student, helping them realize their calling and achieve their highest potential. This program also has a strong internship component, giving students the opportunity to explore a variety of local ministry contexts. 

Career Paths

The Bachelors in Christian Ministry curriculum is designed to meet all of the educational requirements for ordination in the Church of the Nazarene and full-time ministry. Upon successful completion of the program, students earn a certificate stating that they are approved by COSAC in the Church of the Nazarene. Students are also exceptionally prepared to continue on to seminary or other graduate programs.
