Published: November 16, 2010
Holiday favorites and jazz arrangements will be among the musical selections performed by ENC’s Symphonic Winds and 4 O’Clock Jazz Ensemble at a free winter concert to be held Friday Dec. 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the Cove Fine Arts Center.
Comprised of ENC students, adults and selected area high school students, the 35-member Symphonic Winds will perform a number of holiday selections followed by the 4 O’Clock Jazz Ensemble, which will present a jazz program featuring “big band” instrumentation and arrangements.
“We invite area residents to come and discover these local ensembles at this free concert,” said Stephen Bell, director of both the Symphonic Winds and 4 O’Clock Jazz ensembles. “It’s a wonderful way to step into the Christmas season.”
