Students visit South Shore Natural Science Center
Published: October 10, 2012
Students majoring in Environmental Science had the opportunity to go to the South Shore Natural Science Center in Norwell, MA, affiliated with ENC’s partner, the South Shore YMCA. The students and professor Jonathan Twining were given a tour of the center’s EcoZone museum, animal care room, owl enclosures, trails, and gardens. The visit to the nature center is the first of many future educational opportunities for Environmental Science and Biology students, aided by staff member and ENC alumna, Chris Jacobs (97). She hopes to bring ENC students back in the future to help those entering the EcoZone to understand what they are seeing in the exhibits.
