The Friends of Nease Library and the Social Work Department welcomes Alan Burt, author of Blessings of the Burden; Reflections and Lessons on Helping the Homeless, to the Nease Library on Saturday, October 19 at 12:00pm. Mr. Burt will discuss his book and his experiences working with the homeless on Cape Cod. Alumni Lora (Stadler, 79) Wooster and Jonathan Lanham (04, 08) will join Dr. Stacey Barker, chair of the Social Work Department, and Nicole Comeau, senior social work major, for a panel discussion.
