Remembering Carroll F. Bradley

Eastern Nazarene College is sad to announce the passing of Carroll F. Bradley (50) on January 7, 2015 in Venice, FL. Coach Bradleyplayed on the earliest ENC Intercollegiate Basketball team in 1949. He coached the men’s basketball team for 18 years (1956-1970 and 1985-1989) and the men’s baseball team for a year (1962). He went on to the role of Athletic Director for almost thirty years (1953-1970 and 1982-1994) and was a class advisor, a professor and the Dean of men. He opened the door to intercollegiate athletic competition and was instrumental in creating what is now Bradley Field.
In 1994, Eastern Nazarene College formally established an athletics hall of fame and was renamed the Carroll F. Bradley Hall of Famein 2009. ENC athletes are inducted in his honor each year during the Homecoming Celebration Dinner.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Carroll and Doris Bradley Scholarship through the Office of Institutional Advancement.
