Biographical Notes
- Dr. Malas has been at ENC since the fall of 2002 and has received both the ENC Professional Achievement Award (2005) and the Teaching Excellence Award (2010). Before coming to ENC, he was the senior pastor at Richmond Trinity Church of the Nazarene in Virginia (now Cross Pointe Church of the Nazarene). Dr. Malas is a member of several scholarly societies including the Society of Biblical Literature, the Wesleyan Theological Society, and the Catholic Biblical Association. As a member, he has presented several papers. Additionally, Dr. Malas contributes to the life of the Church both in his local church and on the New England District as well as by writing adult material for Nazarene Sunday School. Dr. Malas continues to serve as the Chair of the Division of Religion and Philosophy, a position he has held since 2003.
