Biographical Notes:
Claire Roll joined the ENC coaching staff in the fall of 2021. Roll has coached numerous tournament and showcase teams in the Boston area over the last 6 years and was the assistant softball coach at Gordon College (DIII – CCC) during 2012-2014. Roll has taught private hitting, fielding, and pitching lessons across Massachusetts and New York for the past 12 years.
Originally from Upstate New York, Claire Roll graduated from Gordon College with a B.A. degree in studio art: concentrating in sculpture. She completed her Post-Baccalaureate program at the School of the Museum of Fine arts in 2014 and holds a Masters of Fine Arts in Sculpture from Boston University. She lives and practices in Boston. Roll has exhibited in group and solo exhibitions locally and nationally. She has participated in sculptural symposia in the New England area and has commissioned work around the world. Roll recently exhibited at the National Association of Women Artists in New York City and has work installed at the Fells Historic Estate in Newbury New Hampshire. She has taught Figure Drawing and Figurative Sculpture at Boston University in 2016; Drawing 1 and 3-D design at Bunker Hill Community College 2016 – 2020; as well as Stone Carving, 3D Design, Experimental Media, and Senior Thesis at Barrington Center for the Arts in Wenham, MA.
