Leadership Facilitator

Dr. Neal Anderson serves as the Associate Dean of Students for Residence Life and Auxiliary Services at Colorado Christian University. His responsibilities include oversight of Residence Life, Food Service, Meal Plans, Housing, Mail Room Services, and Summer Conferences. Neal has worked at CCU since 2018. With nearly 20 years of experience in Christian higher education, including time at Moody Bible Institute and Wheaton College, Neal loves serving college students. He is also the founder and owner of CARTO Leadership, a boutique leadership development firm specializing in coaching and consulting emerging leaders. When not at work, Neal enjoys local coffee and weekend hikes in the Rockies with his wife and three boys (9, 7, and 5).
Guest Speaker

Montague Williams is Professor of Church, Culture, and Society at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, CA. He teaches and writes at the intersection of ethics and practical theology and is the author of Church in Color: Youth Ministry, Race, and the Theology of Martin Luther King, Jr (Baylor University Press, 2020). Williams holds a PhD in Theological Studies from Boston University, and he is the recipient of awards for teaching, writing and preaching, such as the Wesleyan Theological Society’s Outstanding Dissertation Award, Eastern Nazarene College’s Teaching Excellence Award, and Nazarene Theological Seminary’s Good News Alumni Award in the category of Proclamation. Beyond the life of teaching and writing, Dr. Williams has been the director of the Summer Institute for the Gifted at Harvard University and an educational advisor for the “Trauma-Responsive Congregations” project, which is a national endeavor that seeks to bring the resources of trauma theology and trauma-response chaplaincy training to bear on congregational ministry in the cities of Boston and San Diego. He currently directs the Pilgrimage Innovation Hub, a national research and development endeavor funded by the Lilly Endowment, Inc. Montague and his wife Jennie Williams live in San Diego with their two children.
