Rev. Vince Crouse named Chaplain for AGS Division

Rev. Vincent L. Crouse has been named to the newly created position offull-time chaplain for ENC’s Adult and Graduate Studies division. Inhis new role, Rev. Crouse will serve in the Office of SpiritualDevelopment and Church Relations, providing pastoral and spiritual careto the students, faculty and staff of the Adult and Graduate Studiesdivision, also known as the LEAD program. He will begin his newposition in late September.

ENC Hosts YMCA Summer Camps

This summer the campus is alive with activity, as ENC playshost to the South Shore YMCA’s popular Summer Day Camp programs. Eachweek, more than 300 children from across the South Shore have beenpartaking in a variety of camp activities on ENC’s athletic fields aswell as in the college’s gymnasium and in academic buildings acrosscampus.

ENC Welcomes Neighbors to Campus

ENC welcomed members of the Wollaston neighborhood to campus for thesixth-annual Neighborhood Appreciation Day. The event welcomes familieswho live near the college to the front lawn for an afternoon of facepainting, pizza and desserts, and inflatable obstacle courses. Cartooncharacter Scooby Doo also made an appearance to the delight of manykids.

Sophomore Selected for European Internship

Elizabeth Blanchette, a Dean’s list sophomore music major fromSouthwick, MA, has been chosen for a fully funded summer internshipwith the Cambridge College Programmeat the University of Cambridge in Cambridge, England. Thisinvitation-only internship welcomes selected scholars to experience theculture and sights of England through courses taught by Britishlecturers. Elizabeth has been named Assistant Director to the programmeand will be responsible for organizing and developing activities andcommunity service opportunities for the participating scholars.
