Eastern Nazarene College appointed Elizabeth Buckley to Chair of the newly defined Business Division commencing July 1, 2013, provost Dr. Timothy Wooster announced.
Elizabeth previously served as a curriculum specialist in the Adult & Graduate Studies division. As chair of the Business Division, she will oversee the curricular and academic aspects of ENC’s traditional undergraduate and AGS business programs.
The creation of this new division follows a year-long assessment and evaluation of ENC’s business programs. Through this restructuring, the Business Department will move from the Social Science Division into a division of its own ? a change that is fully supported by Social Science Division Chair Nancy Detwiler who stated, “The change will provide greater vision as it opens the door for future growth of the business division.”
Elizabeth brings extensive management, business consulting, and international economic development experience to her new position as chair of the Business Division. Her business experience includes serving as a project management consultant for Global Scripture Impact in Haiti and ASHOKA International in Ahmedabad, India and she previously served in consulting roles with Appropriate Infrastructure Development Group, Dorchester Bay Economic Development Corporation and EAB Consulting Associates.
A Southwick resident, Elizabeth holds a BS in International Business from Messiah College as well as an MBA and MA in Sustainable International Development from Brandeis University’s Heller School for Social Policy and Management.
