Major League Baseball executive to speak at Eastern Nazarene College’s annual Warren Business Forum November 12
Published: October 28, 2009
A Major League Baseball executive will be the featured speaker at Eastern Nazarene’s College’s annual Warren Business Forum dinner, to be held Thursday Nov. 12 at 6:30 p.m. in the Mann Student Center on the college’s main campus. Members of the local business community are invited to attend this free presentation.
Titled “Stepping Up to the Plate: The Journey Towards Becoming Leaders of Character,” the 2009 forum will feature guest speaker David Howard, executive vice president of business operations for the New York Mets. The highest ranking non-owner executive in the company, Howard oversees the Mets’ communications, corporate sales and services, ticket sales and services and guest experience departments as well as the team’s Florida business operations.
Sponsored by the Eastern Nazarene College Business department, the Warren Business Forum aims to share inspiration, enthusiasm and a commitment to ethical business practices with both college students and the business community. The event is named in honor of ENC alumnus and business executive John Warren (class of 1934), who believed that people are led by God into business and professional lives as well as into church ministry and missionary work.
Eastern Nazarene College is located at 23 East Elm Avenue in Quincy. Members of the business community who wish to attend the forum may call 617-774-6842 or register online at www.enc.edu/wbf.
