Jeff Kirksey Appointed Vice President for Student Development and Retention

Jeff Kirksey has accepted an appointment as vice president of student development and retention, providing leadership in the areas of residential life, social and community life, counseling and career services, health services, varsity athletics and student government. He will assume his new duties July 1.
Jeff’s 10 years of experience in higher education is rich and diverse, with significant leadership roles in developing successful student learning and retention efforts. He is passionate about helping students develop and recognizes the unique role Christian higher education plays in fostering growth and success in students so that they may discover and embrace the full scope of God’s calling.
Currently the dean of admission and retention at Houghton College in New York, Jeff has served in a variety of administrative capacities at George Fox University, Baylor University and Geneva College. He holds a B.A. in Organizational Communication from George Fox University and later earned an M.S. degree in Higher Education Administration from Baylor University. He recently began doctoral studies in Organizational Leadership at Eastern University in Pennsylvania.
Jeff and his wife, Sarah, are the parents of three children ? daughter Campbell, 5, 2-year-old twins Everett and Titus, and are expecting their fourth child this fall.
