Eastern Nazarene College (ENC) will host its 10th Annual Academic Symposium and Gould Holiness Lecture Series on April 28th and April 29th.
Each year, ENC’S Honors Scholar Society celebrates the mission of Eastern Nazarene College, both Intellectual and Christian, with the Academic Symposium. The event provides faculty, staff and students the opportunity to share their passion and hard work with the community.
This year’s symposium will be held virtually and it will feature a Gould Holiness Lecture on “Futures Devoured: Christian Hope in the Debt Economy” and Academic Symposium lecture on “Fugitive Futures: Hope in the Times of Financialized Capitalism”, by Dr. Filipe Maia, Assistant Professor of Theology at Boston University. The event will also include a virtual poster session, live presentations and asynchronous discussion forums, held via Zoom.
All are invited to attend to celebrate in this shared mission of providing quality Christian liberal arts education to students. For a full schedule of events and more information on how to join virtually, please visit https://enc.instructure.com/courses/6586 .
