Hundreds of high school students from throughout the Eastern Seaboard will travel to Quincy this week, as Eastern Nazarene College hosts its annual “Festival of Life” celebration from March 17-19.
Founded some 30 years ago, Festival of Life brings students in grade 9-12 from the Eastern Region of Nazarene Youth International to ENC for three days of athletic competitions, arts and music activities as well as opportunities for local ministry. This year’s Festival of Life is expected to attract 380 students and adult sponsors, all of whom will stay at the Boston Marriott Quincy while taking part in activities at ENC.
In addition to taking part in athletics, music, drama and arts competitions, students will have an opportunity to participate in worship services and ministry projects while becoming familiar with the ENC campus. Other planned activities include an ice cream social, concerts and closing ceremonies that will feature the presentation of awards and scholarships.
