Dr. Don Yerxa Runs Conference at Oxford University
Published: July 23, 2013
Professor Emeritus of History, Donald Yerxa, ran a three-day conference at Harris Manchester College, Oxford University earlier in July. The event, sponsored by The Historical Society’s Religion and Innovation in Human Affairs grants initiative, brought together prominent scholars from a wide variety of disciplines to discuss the influence of religion on innovation from early societies to the prospects of a transhumanist future. The conference will lead to a book that Yerxa will edit.
