Weekly COVID-19 Briefing 10/24/2020
October 24, 2020
Accurate Symptom Reporting is Critical
With cases of COVID on the rise across Massachusetts it is very important that you not dismiss any symptoms you are experiencing and honestly report them using your symptom screening app. If you are a student that is experiencing symptoms please call our Symptoms Line 7 days a week at (617) 745-3777 and leave a message for the on-call nurse. They will call you back and help you craft a wellness plan.
If you are a student experiencing problems with your CoVerified app reach out for assistance by emailing email@example.com.
If you are an employee experiencing problems with your ProtectWell app reach out for assistance by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
End of Term Information
Thanksgiving is just around the corner. Remember that in-person learning ends Tuesday, November 24th. Residential students may leave for winter break at that time. If residential students need to stay on campus past the 24th, they can apply for extended housing through December 4th by completing the Extended Stay Form. More detailed information has been sent to residential students via email from Residential Life and Housing. Check your email for all the information.

Every student engaged in in-person learning in Massachusetts must have a flu shot by December 31, 2020. We are hosting CVS for an on-campus flu clinic.

Look for sign-up information in your ENC email inbox.
Information on the reschedule of the October 23rd clinic will be coming soon!

The dash board is updated every Friday by 5 PM.
Travel Restrictions Still in Place
Remember (students and employees) you should eliminate non-essential travel to high-risk states and international locations in compliance with the Governor’s Travel Order.
If you must travel to a high-risk state, you must notify residence life (complete the Travel Form – if a campus resident, including Young and Munro GAs and renters) or your supervisor (if an employee) of your trip so a re-entry plan can be established that complies with the Massachusetts Order.
Please note that a re-entry plan must be established prior to departure. If you do not have a re-entry plan established, do not return to campus and contact Health Services during regular business hours Monday-Friday at (617) 745-3893 to arrange your re-entry.
Not complying with the Massachusetts Travel Order could result in a $500 fine.
The College continues to maintain an active website with timely information related to COVID-19 and institutional response. This informative site can be found at: https://enc.edu/fall-2020-reopening-plans/
Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire ENC family around the world as we navigate these trying times. We are grateful for a God who is present in our daily lives and who demonstrates to us how to love and live.
Blessings to you on behalf of the Emergency Response Team,
Vice President for Student Development and Campus Services
