Business Division Lectures – Spring 2014

The Business Division is welcoming esteemed experts and CEOs in a variety of fields (Media, Government Relations, Wealth Management, Small Business, and Marketing) to deliver informative and inspiring messages. The Network 12 lecture series is designed to expose ENC students to experts in the field and useful content for their future business careers.

Donna Mavromates has 20 years of marketing experience. She specializes in developing and implementing marketing strategies for small and medium size businesses.
February 20 – Christina Skillman
CEO / Creative Director, Skillman Video Group, LLC
A multi-service Boston video production company, Skillman Video is oriented around creating robust and innovative marketing content solutions. Christina has been able to develop a firm that thrives in today’s social video environment by creating a great team with tons of experience in video production and marketing for today’s media.
March 4 – David Bergers (89)
Managing Director for Legal and Government Relations, LPL Financial
After 13 years of federal service in the SEC as the Senior Enforcement Official, ENC alumnus David Bergers (89) has taken on a new position as a general counsel and managing director for legal and government relations at the firm’s holding company, LPL Financial Holdings Inc.
March 20 – Elliot Herman
Partner, PRW Wealth Management LLC
Elliot is a Partner at PRW Wealth Management LLC. He is a financial manager with over 20 years of experience in the finance industry. Elliot earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Brandeis University, an MS/MBA from Northeastern University, and completed the Program for Certified Financial Planners at Boston University

Owner of Curry Hardware
With three stores in West Quincy, Braintree, and Hanover, Curry Paint and Hardware has come a long way since Paul Curry handed over the family business to his son Bob Curry in 1975. Bob has established his business as a cornerstone in the market by maintaining a very friendly and genuine environment with his customers. This everybody-knows-your-name environment has helped Bob compete with the megastores that run hardware today
