Anna Brecke to Give Paper

Anna Brecke, Director of the Center for Academic Services, is giving a paper at the Institute of English Studies, Senate House, University of London on Friday, September 11, 2009. The conference, VICTORIAN POPULAR NOVELISTS 1860-1900, is currently being held.
According to the British Association for Victorian Studies website, “This conference will reflect upon recent developments, such as digitization and new academic reprints, and assess their impact upon research and teaching practices. It also marks the launch of the Victorian Popular Fiction Association which aims to foster research in this field through regular seminars and conferences.” Anna’s paper is titled “A Designing and Infamous Woman”: Lady Audley as actress and director.
