Alumnus Accepted to Umass Amherst Doctoral Program

Alumnus Matthew Conte, Class of 2005, was accepted and has started his doctoral program at UMass Amherst College of Engineering. Conte earned his Masters in Photonic Engineering from Boston University in 2007 and joined the Radio Frequency Nanoelectronics Group as part of Raytheon’s Advanced Study Scholar Program in the Fall of 2012. Conte will be under the direction of Prof. Joseph Bardin, a recent recipient of the DARPA Young Faculty Award.
