Cecil R. Paul Center for Business

In October 1999, ENC dedicated newly renovated facilities to the memory of former president Dr. Cecil R. Paul. The facilities are utilized by the traditional undergraduate students as well as the Adult and Graduate Studies program. The new facilities occupy 37,000 square feet of the 80,000 square foot Adams Executive Center on Old Colony Avenue in Quincy, site of the former Howard Johnson Candy Factory and Executive Offices. This site is less than one mile from the main campus. Bus service is provided to transport undergraduate students between this site and the main campus.

The building houses 12 classrooms, 1 computer lab, a conference room, a distance education room, and faculty and staff offices. Standard classroom equipment includes LCD computer projection equipment, computer hook-ups, wireless internet access, video equipment, and overhead projectors. Since much of the curriculum in both the adult studies and traditional business programs is computer-based, the building also includes a PC-based computer lab available to students. The distance education room is equipped with internet hook-up, videotaping capability, and conferencing capability to support the college’s distance education initiative.
