A Cappella Choir Spring Concert
Published: April 15, 2014
The Eastern Nazarene College A Cappella Choir and Women’s Ensemble presented a spring concert at 7:00 pm on Thursday, April 24 at Bethany Congregational Church in Quincy Center.
The concert featured a wide variety of music under the direction of Dr. Timothy Shetler. The concert also featured selections from the Liebeslieder Walzer, Opus 52, by Johannes Brahms with professor emeritus Dr. Brady Millican and music department chair Dr. Kevin Smith on piano.
ENC’s A Cappella Choir tours regularly in the New England and Mid-Atlantic states. In addition to performing internationally, the choir has performed at New York City’s Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, and at Boston’s historic Jordan Hall at New England Conservatory.
A suggested donation of $10 was taken at the door. Seniors and students with a valid school ID made a donation of their choice.
Bethany Congregational Church is located at 18 Spear St., across the street from Quincy High School and the Thomas Crane Public Library. For more information about the A Cappella Choir, contact the ENC Box Office at 617-745-3715.
