A Cappella Choir Presents Valentine’s Day Concert
Published: January 20, 2012
The ENC A Cappella Choir and Chamber Singers will present a Valentine’s Day concert at 7:30pm on Friday, February 10, at Central Baptist Church in Quincy Center.
Presented by the South Shore Performing Artist Series, the concert will feature a wide variety of music from madrigals to contemporary favorites under the direction of Dr. Timothy Shetler. The Chamber Singers will perform a number of Beatles tunes featuring complex vocal harmonies and arrangements, and the A Cappella Choir will present a number of selections related to the theme of love. Music selections include traditional romantic themes, but also highlight the most important love of all – God’s love for His people.
A suggested donation of $10 to $15 will be taken at the door. Seniors and students with a school ID are invited to make a donation of their choice. Proceeds from the Valentine’s Day concert will benefit future international touring engagements for the Chamber Singers.
The Central Baptist Church is located at 67 Washington St. in Quincy Center, across the street from the Thomas Crane Public Library. For more information, contact the ENC Box Office at 617-745- 3715.
